IT ALL STARTED IN YEAR 3…..MY SCHOOL LIFE

On my first day in this school (boughton leigh junior) I was scared and worried i wasn’t good enough,yeah you guessed it i was wrong! Anywho back then i was scared and nervous and had really bad anxiety.Anyway let’s start!

I was getting dressed for my first day my sister’s (Kyra and Tiarna) were already dressed and ready for the day oh and Kyra was in year 6 Tiarna was in year 5 and yes i was in…..year 3. They said “Come on Rosaya, its not that bad”

” I suppose it isnt that bad” yeah i was wrong anyway.

When i got to boughton leigh i was really scared. I was in 3 strong,I sat down and claimed my seat everyone was looking and when i mean everyone I MEAN EVERY ONE!

I just looked at everyone to some looked familer…I just decided to ignore it so i did. At break time I looked at everyone getting along as my heart drifted away someone came up to me

“Hi Rosaya!” How did they know my name as my head was runniong with sweat i looked up..It was Lily if you dont know Lily she’s in 5 Mozart,she’s really kind! Anyway, I said hi back just kidding i didnt i mumbled it..she was with Sandra and Olivia…..NOT OLIVIA! She was so popular i got really scared then i saw KAROLINA! I ran to her for her to save me i couldnt tell how fast i was running i just ran as fast as my little legs could run.I looked ridiculous! i wanted to die at that moment!

As soon as i got to her the bell rang..i was in a tea pose position…Everyone looked at me and laughed well not everyone but some people did.After break,I came in, I sat next to Billy and Vadims,they were both so annoying,within a week Vadims everyday was saying “dO yOu PlAy RoBlOx” IT WAS SO ANNOYING! So one day i just had enough so. My blood fessels were fuming so I said this “YES,WHAT DO YOU WANT” and guess what he said guess I SAID GUESS yes your right he said

“ok chill out,can i get your user name” I said whatever its __________ he said ok i will friend you mine is ________  I said ok! Thats when it started. So like a month later i was already friends with 3 people (Karolina,Sophie and Vadims)

Then..my heart started to pound everytime I saw Sophie i didnt tell my mum i told my middle sister (Tiarna) she said oh nice! you like girls! I said oh- Then my sister told me to confess so i did by writing three poems and one said will you be my girlfriend on the back i gave them to her at home time and ran as fast as i could! The next day,she banged on the desk so i said are you ok she said yes and i was like ok then she said oh and yes i was confused at first but then she said the poem and i was so happy and were still dating till this day she is soo cute and adorable i love her so much! The game creator’s name is Notch and his real name is Markus Persson and it was shoking when the game first came out, it was just a flat world when you roam around and basically do nothing and just fall of earth, it was not infinite land like now!

Minecraft was first added the the publicity of the gamers but it was a very boring game back then and Notch was not a very good game developer, until the realism mods came out so that it would have been a bad game and just BLOCKS!!

Championships are races that happened every hour,everyday. You race with everyone who comes to the championship IN THE WHOLE SERVER! If you get 1-3 you get medals.You can sell those for Jorvik Shillings and buy yourself some ~Awsome~ stuff!

What are Jorvik Shillings?

Jorvik Shillings are an in-game currency where you can buy clothes. However,you cannot buy horses with Jorvik Shillings because,in order to obtain jorvik shillings,all you have to do is daily races,daily quests,and quests! Daily races and daily quests appear everyday!

 How do you buy horses?

In order to buy horses,you have to go on www.starstable.com and have to login to your account. After that you have to buy it with your own money! (credit cards,etc.Sadly,they do not accept cash because it is an online game) .

 Areas / quests

Quests are a feature which level up your character, unlock new areas and also give the player rewards. The quests in Star Stable Online are either related to the story of Jorvik’s side quests which are meant for fun but usually help level up the character or give extra rewards.Some quests are hidden, meaning that they do not appear on the player’s map which includes the Mysterious  Red Fox Quest, Message in the Bottle, Treasure in a Forest, Lost Key at the Mall, Frozen Solid, Texas Bluebell and Lost Watch.

As a child of the 70’s and 80’s I have been lucky to watch and be involved (in a very small way) with the development of the home computer. My involvement has been purely as an ‘end user’, sadly I had neither the forethought nor the funds to invest in any of the main players (1 share in Microsoft was worth $21 when it floated and now is worth $310!) but my interest in and amazement at the progression is immense. As a teacher in a primary school I am expected to help the  children learn about major, era defining historical events from Vikings to Tudors to Victorians to the industrial revolution. The more recent technological revolution will be one of those eras taught in future schools and the growth of home computer will be a major part of that. 

Where did it start?

My first computer

Sinclair ZX81 1981 – 1,2,3,Go (Set-up, power-up, ready)

In 1981 my parents managed to rustle together the £70 needed to buy there son a ZX81 computer (that’s about £280 in today’s money). Actually, it would have been more than that as mine came with the 16k upgrade! In a household where money was always tight this was a wonderful gift. This was the machine would fuel my love of computing although I would not own another computer until I went to University some 15 years later.

The ZX81 was, as already shared, a Sinclair machine and as such was programmed using basic. And you did have to programme it. You could buy games on tape and play them into the machine (the noise this created when you failed to plug everything together correctly is indelibly etched into the memory of every home computer owner of that era) which would take up to 6 minutes and was not guaranteed to succeed. Mainly though we (my fellow computer friends) and I would buy a weekly or monthly ZX magazine and eagerly type in the codes within.

10. I really like the beach but it isn’t my favourite. The reason I like the beach is that most of the time there is a volley ball net that I play with my brother(s).

9. This one is swimming because whenever me and my brother go swimming I like diving from the diving board. The reason this isn’t my favourite is that I have loads more things that are better than this.

8. I like spending time with my dog, but she always runs away from me, so I really can’t play with her. I love her so much that EVERY TIME I come back from school, she runs up to me and then just thinks ” RUN TO MUMMY!!!!” and it is annoying as when I was banned for gaming for a WHOLE WEEK

8. Gaming is my thing but every time I leave a scrape of my dinner, I CAN’T PLAY FOR A WHOLE HOUR!!!

7. YouTube is an amazing app, which it is at the 7th bit, because it helps me learn new talents, you thought I was going to say something else! 

6. Roblox is the thing I will be talking about in this paragraph. After the Roblox shutdown I have been bored as lockdown, I’m not joking… BORING!!!!! I had to purchase different games/apps, I have permision purchases turned on! I have to get even more games to get inspired or the game that I’m about to talk about below!

5. Minecraft! It’s a good game that you should play! It’s mobile, computer, Play Station and xBox and you can mine, build, craft and even kill 😅.

4. Summer might be good and you could play on the beach but it is not number 1, IT’S STILL GOOD!

3. Rain rain, please just stay… WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT, HUH?! I like rain, dancing in the rain… STOP IT!!!!

2. Lego is good but not the best. The best thing about lego is that you can build a whole entire house or building. I just play with lego for fun but sometimes I play with it for stress relief!

1. The best thing in the wholw wide world for me is… WINTER!!! Winter is my life, when I go to Poland… NOT THE UK!!! For some reason the best thing to do is just throw a snowball at my brother or into the sky to think it will fly to space and go to mars and back! I could just go outside to the snow for literally all day!!!!!
