My favourite things are: drawing because it’s very relaxing and time consuming also it’s very fun to try new styles such as cartoon, anime, semi realistic, alternative and much more to try! I also love music I like indie rock. My favourite band is Arctic monkeys and Beach bunny. I like alot more singers but it will take a long time to write all of them! I can also play the ukulele I like playing it and i have lessons like drawing it’s very relaxing and fun!

My favourite thing to do is most definitely performing with my band! This may come as a surprise to some of you but yes, Mr G is in a band. Not only that it is a rock band. Not only that it is a very noisy rock band! Not only that Mr G is the singer!

I have been erforming in bands for more years than most of your parents have been alive – yes we did have music when I was a youth though I must admit that it was on vinyl and we were the generation that though CDs were a really cool idea!

Anyway, the band I am currently in is called Escher Rocks! You can follow the link to check us out if you like:

Why do I like this? Well, it’s a fabulous form of escapism. When I’m on stage or rehearsing I forget about everything else. All my worries and troubles become lost as I just focus on the music and performance! Also singing for me is a very physical thing so my body produces the same chemicals (endorphins) that give sports people a good feeling.

I also do this because I enjoy the company of the other band members. They have a way of keeping me grounded, cheering you up and just generally making me smile.

Escher is not the only band tyhat I have been involved with, there have been many over the years and through them I have had the joy of playing some great gigs. The biggest audience I’ve played to is about 15000 the smallest 3! Both of them were great fun!

Fab fact: my daughter’s middle name is Escher!
