Deepavali also known as Diwali and is the annual festive of lights. The date of Diwali changes every year in November or October .This year ( 2021) it is in November. Diwali is normally 3-5 days , it is on the darkest day of the year. In Diwali , you decorate the house with candles to welcome goddess Lakshmi . Diwali means rows of lighted lamps. Deepavali is celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and some Buddhists. In this festival, people design rangoli patterns to make their house stand out with bright colours. In Diwali they eat food like ludo an Indian dish.
